Nonprofit organization for research and education involving space science and technology, Mars Exploration, fuels and propulsion, energy and resources, in situ resource utilization, space communications and navigation, and exobiology. The majority of its work is supported by NASA and other U.S. government agencies.

A collaboration of industry and academia, eSpace is non-profit organization that operates hands-on programs to support the creation and development of entrepreneurial space companies, the commercialization of the technologies they create and the workforce to fuel their growth.

A nonprofit organization that supports local photonics companies by providing the opportunity to test product ideas through labs with access to state-of-the art measurement and fabrication equipment rental, contract measurement services and incubator space.
> Colorado Nanotechnology Alliance (www.coloradonanotechnology.org)
Nonprofit economic development organization representing Colorado's nanotechnology companies. Connects, coordinates, facilitates, promotes and educates industry, government and academia around the benefits of nanotechnology commercialization. Provides networking opportunities and representation for the nanotechnology sector within the aerospace industry.
> Colorado Space Grant Consortium (COSGC) (spacegrant.colorado.edu)
A state-wide resource for connecting undergraduate and graduate students to industry through innovative courses, real-world hands-on satellite programs and interactive outreach programs. The COSGC is funded by NASA as part of the National Space Grant Program and involves 13 colleges, universities and institutions around Colorado, providing opportunities through internship and co-op programs.
> Geospatial Industry Workforce Information System (GIWIS) (www.giwis.org)
An online geospatial workforce information network led by the Geospatial Information and Technology Association. Enables educators, industry and workforce experts to communicate the opportunities, skills required and programs that will help motivate workers to enter the geospatial field in the Denver area.
> Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA) (www.gita.org) Colorado-based nonprofit educational association serving the global geospatial community. Provides information and references for professional and technical needs via the Association's Web site. The Association is a source of geospatial industry information, programs and services, member contacts and industry news. Administers the ED Forrest Internship to create opportunities for GIS students to obtain practical hands-on experience.

A nonprofit applied research and development organization that provides space research. Specializes in the creation and transfer of technology in engineering and physical sciences.
> Space Science Institute (www.spacescience.org)
A nonprofit corporation that provides the opportunity for researchers and educators to jointly expand knowledge of the space sciences. Five major branches: Research, Flight Operations, Education, Business Operations, and Information Systems and Technology. Develops traveling exhibits and professional development workshops for scientists and educators, education planning for the research community, and instructional materials.

Non-profit organization supporting space activities, space professionals and education. Provides information, education and advocacy on all facets of the space industry: commercial (including telecoms and satellite), civil, and national security. Its education programs are accredited through 17 universities and colleges; and it supports the National Space Symposium and Strategic Space and Defense conferences.
